CEO | Founder DuJour Media
Jason Binn is an award-winning American publisher and entrepreneur best known as the Founder and CEO of DuJour Media. This luxury lifestyle brand connects influential and affluent audiences through digital, print, and experiential platforms. Under his leadership, he has continued to grow as a media innovator, building DuJour into a respected presence in high-end publishing. The brand offers curated stories on fashion, art, culture, travel, and real estate, maintaining national reach while staying locally relevant in major U.S. markets.
Jason is also recognized for his dedication to philanthropy. He utilizes his resources and platforms to support a variety of charitable causes.
For over 30 years, he has worked at the intersection of media, luxury, and celebrity culture.
Before launching DuJour Media, Binn founded Niche Media in 1992, developing publications that reflected the interests and lifestyles of different cities. His magazines reached audiences in many locations with titles including Aspen Peak, Boston Common, Capitol File, Hamptons, Ocean Drive, Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential, Michigan Avenue, Philadelphia Style, and Vegas. These publications helped shape the luxury regional publishing landscape and strengthened his reputation within the industry.
Through these city-focused publications, Jason connected with local communities while ensuring each magazine reflected the spirit of its location, including Miami, the Hamptons, and New York City. Niche Media also developed a custom publishing division that produced materials for Art Basel Miami Beach, Wynn Las Vegas, and the Short Hills Mall on behalf of the Taubman real estate organization.
Expanding Niche Media into a national platform and later selling the company marked an essential step in his career. In 2006, he sold Niche Media to Greenspun Media Group while continuing as CEO. In 2007, Greenspun Media Group acquired Ocean Drive Media Group, which he co-owned and founded. He continued to oversee operations and management until his resignation in 2010.
In 2012, Binn founded DuJour Media, which reaches high-net-worth audiences through digital, print, and live experiences. DuJour's ongoing success reflects his commitment to understanding his audience while delivering stories that highlight culture and trends. His collaborations with brands and public figures have contributed to DuJour’s growth in the luxury media sector.
His work at DuJour has earned industry recognition, including honors at the Webby Awards. His contributions to building platforms that connect business, entertainment, and philanthropy have been acknowledged with the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year Award,” Crain’s “40 Under 40,” and recognition from Forbes and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
DuJour recently celebrated its 13th anniversary, marking its continued influence in luxury publishing. Last year, Jason and his team hosted an event at The Hard Rock Hotel in New York with a cover star. In March 2025, he led another event in New York City, celebrating DuJour’s Spring cover, which featured an actress.
Philanthropy remains a meaningful part of his life and work. Binn has supported causes focusing on health, children, and community needs, using his platforms to raise awareness for these missions. He also co-founded the Binn Animal Rescue and Sanctuary Charitable Foundation to help animals facing cruelty and neglect.
He was born in Roslyn Harbor, New York, and attended Boston University’s College of Communication. He values time with his family and children.
Jason Binn continues to lead in the media industry while maintaining his commitment to philanthropy, supporting the communities and audiences connected to his work.
